Process:

The process of becoming a member has three phases: Hang AroundProspect and Probate.

During the Hang Around phase you will be a guest of the club/chapter. You will make runs with the group and attend meetings. If the club "fits" you and vice versa, then you will be invited to become a prospect. In the hang around stage there is no commitment and you can come and go as you please.

During the Prospect phase you are basically a "prospective member" and the individual will go on all runs and attend all meetings with the club. This gives the prospect a chance to continue to evaluate his desire to belong to this brotherhood and the club members to evaluate his basic personality and compatibility.
In this phase the club expects a certain amount of commitment to the chapter you are affiliating with.

The Probate phase is longer and gives the probate the opportunity to learn the proper conduct of a member in a MC. It affords the membership the opportunity to evaluate the probate as an individual that they will be proud to label as, and depend upon as a brother.

During this time the probate is under the direct supervision of an experienced patch holder whenever wearing the club "rockers". At this stage, full commitment to the club is expected.
